Visual Branding & Design
I collaborated with a team of designers to develop cohesive branding for VHA OHIL’s programs, ensuring alignment with VA style guidelines. Each program had its distinct visual identity, and we were responsible for creating supporting collateral, reinforcing its branding. As the lead designer on multiple projects, I played a key role in shaping the visual presence of these initiatives and contributed to the success of dozens of in-person and virtual events over the years.
I worked closely with project managers to transform requests such as dense, text-heavy Word documents into visually compelling and cohesive design materials. By streamlining complex information into clear, engaging layouts, I developed countless marketing and design materials that align with the program’s mission to empower frontline VHA employees in solving healthcare challenges. Through the intentional use of color, typography, and structured design, I ensured these materials maintained a professional and cohesive visual identity while enhancing readability and impact.

VHA Innovators Network
These examples effectively reflect the VHA Innovators Network (iNET)’s mission to empower frontline VHA employees in tackling healthcare challenges. By visually translating the client’s vision through precise color palettes, cohesive design elements, and typography, I created materials that maintain a professional identity while enhancing clarity, engagement, and impact.
VHA Diffusion of Excellence
I collaborated closely with the Diffusion of Excellence (DoE) team to transform extensive textual content into compelling publication designs. By effectively utilizing and enhancing DoE's existing branding elements, I incorporated a unique style of infographics that improved readability and made the content more engaging and visually dynamic.
This approach aligned with DoE's mission to empower frontline VHA employees to disseminate and implement innovative practices across the Veterans Health Administration. The success of these designs led to special recognition, highlighting the effectiveness of transforming substantial text into engaging and accessible materials.
National Centers for Innovation to Impact
In collaboration with the National Centers for Innovation to Impact (NCI2I), I developed a suite of print and digital communication materials such as one-pagers, posters, email banners, and notebooks that convey NCI2I's mission to integrate VHA's key priorities with transformative, scalable solutions for Veterans and VHA staff.
By leveraging NCI2I’s existing branding, I utilized a cohesive color palette, bold typography, and structured layouts to create visually compelling assets. Thoughtfully integrated infographics and imagery further enhanced comprehension, making key information more accessible.
